I walked outside this morning to see my car engulfed in a thin layer of snow, slowly being washed away by a slow drizzling rain. The chill in the air gave way to a cheerful warmness inside me. I feel good today.
I got a call from my friend Frank (also known as Vulture, and/or Silverback) who lives in Hawaii and has a much better job than me. It was good to talk to him, and he gave me some interesting info about various people I used to know.
I got a nice comment on one of my blog posts from Steve from limb2limb.com with some general advice about woodcarving. He seems like a nice guy and I’ve added his site to my Blogroll.
I’m off to get some lunch. I have a hankering for some hominy.
