I ordered The Kite Runner today. It looks pretty interesting. I’m on a reading kick at the moment, but I’m hoping to start the whole writing thing up again soon. I haven’t written any poetry in quite a while, so maybe I’ll try again soon. I might even try a short story or something.

Work is great as usual. Not really… I don’t imagine normal jobs are great either, but the military is so dumb sometimes. Oh, we got a sandwich toaster today. You know what that means! TOASTED SANDWICHES. There are these really good rolls we’re going to use….and we’re going to put the ingredients in those rolls, and then put the assembled structure into the sandwich toaster. I can’t wait to taste one of those.

For the past few days, my body has been infested with a wretched contagion. I assume it is some sort of cold, but its intensity would suggest some sort of bird flu. I think I may very well be the missing link. I’m converting the bird flu to human form, and I’m going to spread it to everyone. Sorry about that, guys. I’ll try not to play with dead chicken heads any more.

I haven’t posted here since October. That is due mainly to my laziness rather than any sort of activity keeping me busy. I’ve stopped playing online games, and I’ve been reading a lot lately, and watching Stargate SG-1. I keep telling myself I should do some of the language stuff I’ve got, but as I said, I’m very lazy. I’ll get around to it eventually. I need to do a bunch of stuff around the house, as well.

I saw Memoirs of a Geisha the other day. I liked the movie a lot, so I’m going to read the book now. I heard its better than the movie, so I should like it a lot. I don’t normally read the really popular books, as I’m usually a sci-fi/fantasy fan, as far as fiction is concerned, but I decided to make an exception for this. I’m planning on reading a book about ethical living after that, which should be interesting.

I’d better end this, because I need to go to lunch. After lunch I have to go to the dentist. Yay. I that’s going to be a great time.
