Steph and I are going up to Scotland next week. We're going up there for our 2nd anniversary and I'm pretty excited about it, as well as this season in general. Autumn has to be my favorite season. The feeling it gives me is great. In fact, the daily tao for today just reminded me of the whole thing:
A stony path leads up the cold mountain
where houses emerge from the white clouds.
I stop in the woods, moved by the maples -
their frosted leaves redder than spring flowers.

I really need to spend more time walking outside this autumn. I did a fair bit of it last year, but when Autumn goes, I always feel as if I've missed out. It all just slips by so fast.
