I've been playing around on hackthissite.org a lot recently, but someone brought them down. They don't seem too happy. So, I'll switch to HackersLab for a bit.

Not much new, really. We mowed some of our severely overgrown lawn last night with our severely underpowered mower….it wasn't horrible, but it was unpleasant. It's around halfway done, maybe…so I can finish that up tonight. Won't be too bad.

I had a class about CiscoWorks all last week, which was generally a waste of time. Not a very good class. Oh well. I have another class I'll be going to this year….2 weeks long, I think..and when I get out, I'll be a MCSE 2003….the only one on base, I think. It doesn't matter to me much, but I'm sure the extra bit of paper will look better on a resume.

So, Steph got her passport and we'll be heading to Madrid soon. I'm looking forward to it, y0. We still need to figure out how to get some of Steph's ID to the IRS dudes so they can give her a Tax id number, so we don't have to go through this next year. Being married to someone who is not a US citizen is a pain, sometimes. It's all worth it though! *looking around in fear* Heh…no, realy. It is. Anyway, as I posted on that thing yesterday, I'm switching to Debian GNU/Linux soon, to free myself from Microsoft oppression. I'm tired of the viruses and the inability to download the security updates fast enough to save myself from attacks on my vulnerable system. I'm tired of a lot of things about it, and I want to start fresh…and learn something along the way. So as soon as I get everything backed up, make sure my hardware is compatible, etc…I'll be switching. I might wait till Steph's computer is done so she doesn't have to use mine, though. Anyway, I think that is all I have to say at the moment! Do this:

meme stolen from :

“I want everyone who reads this to post in here something they would like to do with me someday.

Then post this in your journal as well!”

Phones.

Is it just me, or do other people find phones in general really annoying? I don't really like to carry a cell phone, I hate the sounds phones make…especially really loud ringing, or really stupid rap ringtones. Sometimes it just seems like I'm in a serene little bubble, but then someone shoves a ringing phone in there, and the bubble starts to pop or something. Anyway, yeah. There's that.
