Performance Report.

My supervisor had to write my performance report the other day. I thought I'd post what she said.

Responsible for the configuration, management, administration and maintenance of over $4.7M in network infrastructure and Information Systems throughout RAF Fairford and RAF Welford's wide area network (WAN). Performs system administration, configuration management and computer security duties on 112 Cisco switches, 11 Cisco routers, 30 WAN servers, 275 networked personal computer systems and associated peripherals. Collects metrics on e-mail accounts, user passwords, web traffic, critical system downtime and computer system performance. Plans, engineers and acquires equipment necessary to support the Secret and Non-secure Internet Protocol Routing Network (SIPRNET/NIPRNET) systems required to support base's bomber forward operating location mission. Provides user education on network policies. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Alternate supply equipment custodian, Alternate Defense Messaging System organization registration authority

- Force Multiplier! Developed program to query workstations and auto-install any missing updates or patches
— Program eliminated need for technicians to manually install updates and greatly increased network security
- Vigilantly ensured 300 systems protected during USAFE Welchia virus crisis; zero infected network systems
- Expertly implemented 45 time compliance network orders; ensured highest network security posture upheld
- Developed and maintained database of names, serial numbers, software, peripherals and available disk space of all NCC servers; consolidated information store saved manpower hours by putting critical data at fingertips
- Single-handedly engineered and maintained circuit with Pentagon to provide Top Secret messaging capability
— Backup messaging circuit allowed basewide AUTODIN deactivation two months prior to DoD guidelines
- Resident Microsoft Exchange guru! Repaired email installation for Services Chief with zero loss of user data - Fortuitively moved mailboxes from failing server; troubleshot and repaired power supply without downtime
- Reverse engineered a malfunctioning program for a maintenance workcenter; restored functionality by tracing code and repaired faulty installation that was causing work stoppage. Solution lauded by Chief of Maintenance
- First-rate worker and easily my most resourceful airman; send to Airman Leadership School now and promote

- Removed 100 tons scrap metal, 75 tons solid waste and 10 abandoned vehicles from neglected base scrapyard
— Prevented contract delays to awarded $7.4M NATO funded project/corrected six major inspection findings
- Created login script for deployed forces which allowed Mildenhall personnel access to home station resources
- Scoured Fairford's global address list to standardize entries; complied with USAFE tasking two weeks early
— Created script for helpdesk which automated account creation; enforced continued compliance with tasking
- Top-notch airman with unlimited potential; continue to challenge with increased responsibilities and promote
